On Wednesday 22nd August the Lord Mayor of Cork, Cllr. Mick Finn hosted a reception for the participants of the TI World Championships in Birmingham and ITF World Championships in Argentina. He commended all those who traveled and encourged everyone to keep up their training, as he would follow our progress in to the coming year.
It was a thrill for both our junior and senior competitors, with TI World Champion Gar Fleming even getting a sneaky spar in with the man himself!!
Now we look forward to getting all clubs back and running in the coming week. Have a great season everyone!
