2018 Tae Kwon-Do Ireland Black Belt Grading

The most important day of the year for Tae Kwon-Do Ireland is without doubt the Black Belt Grading and Awards night, held this year on Saturday 26th May. Thirty-six students were put forward for grading, twenty-eight students grading for 1st Degree, four students for 2nd Degree, two students for 3rd Degree and two students for 4th Degree.

Their examiners on the day were Master Dermot Walsh VII Degree, Master Michael Burke VII Degree and Ms Catherine O'Boyle V Degree.

All students were given a rigorous testing over seven hours, and each student gave their all in each of the sections examined. We wish to congratulate all of our grading students - to all our new 1st Degrees, to Ms Cara Weatherall, Ms Chaia Carroll, Ms Ella O'Brien and Mr Tom Feeney who graded to 2nd Degree; to Mr Ben Cahill and Mr Tadgh Connery who graded to 3rd Degree; and to Ms Clair Cotter and Mr Pat Field on their promotion to 4th Degree.

Over 1300 photos were taken on the day - far too many to post, below are a small section of photos for your perusal - please contact the administrator of the page if you have individual requests!
