Seamus O Dowd is a 6th Dan in Shotokan Karate -Do. SKIF.
Seamus has been an medalist at home and internationally for many years and training in his art for nearly 35 years. He is an an instructor/ teacher in Bo-Jutsu, the use of the long staff here in Ireland and around the world.
We are delighted to announce a seminar in Bo Jutsu and Sparring with Seamus on Sunday 3rd March.
It will run from 10.00am to 2.00pm. This seminar is open to anyone 12 years and older who would like to attend.
It promises to be an action packed, informative, and fun session with one of the foremost teachers in the world in Bo-Jutsu.
Complimentary refreshments will be available after the Bo-Jutsu seminar, plus the opportunity to chat with Seamus and take photos.
At 12.30pm Seamus will take us through some Kumite techniques - full sparring gear required.
This seminar is being held as a fundraiser for Bishopstown TKDI to raise funds for their squad.
The cost is €20 per student.
There is limited space in the hall as students will need room to maneuver with staffs. Therefore, we are limited with our participant numbers.
