ABOUT OUR ASSOCIATION

TaeKwon-Do Ireland/Northern Ireland is a progressive, modern organisation with clubs across the island of Ireland.

All of our club instructors have passed the Tae Kwon-Do Ireland Instructors Course, are FETEC-qualified first aiders and have attended the Code of Ethics course through the Cork Sports Partnership.

TaeKwon-Do Ireland is a founder member of the Irish TaeKwon-Do Council. We are also a member of the Cork Indoor Sports Association.

7th Degree Black Belt, Master Dermot Walsh is one of the most respected martial artists in Ireland. He is chief instructor of Bishopstown TaeKwon-Do which he runs with his wife, son and daughter!

6th Degree Black Belt and chief instructor of Ballincollig TaeKwon-Do, Ms. O'Boyle believes passionately about the development of children through martial arts. This is visible in the smiling faces of her students.

7th Degree Black Belt, Master Michael Burke competed at International level before coaching TKDI's squad. He has trained  fighters at many World Championships including TaeKwon-Do's home in Korea.
